You most likely typed 'build.mcmiddleearth.com' in your Internet browser instead of using it as the ip adress within the game. To join our Minecraft server:

At the main menu, click the Multiplayer button
Click on the Add Server button
When you see the Edit Server Info window, insert the server name (can by anything)
in the Server Adress field you must type build.mcmiddleearth.com
Click on Done
You can now join our server by double-clicking on a server in the list or by selecting the server and clicking Join Server

About Minecraft Middle Earth

Minecraft Middle Earth is a Minecraft gaming community that is trying to create the world known from stories such as Lord of The Rings, The Silmarillion and The Hobbit, in a Minecraft world.

Everyone who has a premium (paid) Minecraft account can join the server. No client mods are necessary to join the server. The server has an established community since 2010 of passionate builders, texture artists and coders. A lot of people learned how to build in specific styles and themes.

Our community also organizes a variety of events such as games, tours and minigames to show the areas we have created.
